欢迎 to Tri-C's Veteran and Military-Connected Services (VMCS) program!
顾名思义, this department is here to assist veterans as well as those who are military-connected, including those still serving or family members of a service member. There is a VMCS center at each of the four main campuses. Swing by to study, hang out or ask questions. SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society
The Veteran and Military Connected Services team is committed to recognizing and encouraging the academic success of our veteran students at Tri-C. As of spring 2024 Tri-C has become a Chapter in the SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society! Military/Veterans Attendance and Participation
The following is Tri-C's policy, developed in accordance with the U.S. Veterans Administration (VA) — Education Policy Manual Section 103, PL 115-407, regarding student veteran status while awaiting VA tuition and fee payments. Those affected are student veterans using Chapter 33 of the 退伍军人权利法》® (Post 9-11 退伍军人权利法》®) or Chapter 31 (退伍军人准备与就业).

- Penalize the student while waiting for the VA to make tuition and fee payments
- Deny a student access to classrooms, libraries or other institutional facilities
- Make the student borrow money to cover the cost while waiting for payment
- Charge a student a late fee or penalty
The period of coverage begins when the student provides the school with a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or a Statement of Benefit:
- The College can require the student to submit the COE or Statement of Benefits no later than the first day of the program.
- The College can also require the student to submit a written request to use benefits or other necessary certifications.
The period of coverage ends when the VA makes payment or 90 days after the date the school certifies tuition and fees.
Tri-C is one of Ohio’s first institutions of higher education to achieve the Collegiate Purple Star campus designation for supporting student veterans. 读故事.
Tri-C has once again been designated a Military Friendly® and Military Spouse Friendly school. Out of over 1,800 eligible schools, Tri-C joins 529 other schools in this designation.
